This abstracted figure takes inspiration from Picasso’s work, specifically around the early to mid-1900s, during which time he experimented with Cubism and abstracting his subject matter. This piece takes the basic forms of the human body and reduces them down to simple lines and shapes, giving the impression of a figure while maintaining a level of abstraction that inspires the imagination.
